Websites
I've been
developing websites for several years -
for my own enjoyment and for friends,
businesses, non-profit organizations and
notable buildings. I design and create
these sites, and also maintain and
update them. Here are a few of them; if
you click on the images, a new window
will open and you can visit the sites.
Tilden
Gardens. Harry and
Bess Truman lived in this beautiful
Washington cooperative apartment
complex that occupies five acres
along Connecticut Avenue and dates from the late 1920s. I was
asked to create a website to
communicate the unique features of
living there.
Tess
in Shanghai. Tess
Johnston has published a shelf full
of books about old Shanghai and
vintage Western architecture in
China, and she gives lectures and
tours and does research there, plus
she publishes the Old China Hand
Gazette. This new site
showcases some of her works.
The
Broadmoor Cooperative.
This Washington, DC cooperative
residence, among the most
distinguished in the Nation's
capital today, commissioned a site
to showcase its turn-of-the-century
building and provide info on bylaws
and policies for owners and
potential buyers.
DC
Cooperative Housing Coalition.
This advocacy and service
organization, formed to advance the
common interests of cooperative
housing associations in the District
of Columbia, commissioned a website
to provide information to its
members and to the general public.
Yoma
Ullman Photography.
Flowers are Yoma's greatest
inspiration as a photographer and
she has taken some amazing images of
flora, but she also loves to shoot
boats, motorbikes, animals,
landscapes and fungi, among other
things.
Peggy
Spitzer Christoff,
a scholar with a special focus on
U.S.-China relations, describes her
experience as a researcher,
administrator of public programs and
a teacher/lecturer in the context of
America's developing relationship
with China.
Humphreys
and Associates is a
is a team of experts who provide
comprehensive, in-depth consultation
on core functions of court
operations. The firm focuses on
providing professional services
related to improving the
administration of justice, primarily
in the developing world.
George
Hamlin
made his career in the
airline and commercial aerospace
fields, but has an interest in other
modes of transportation, including
transit. He's also a gifted
photographer, and the site showcases
his photographs, which focus on
transportation subjects.
